I have information regarding Josiah and Jane. I am also a great granddaughter of Josiah Smith. My Grandfather was Thurman Smith and his son (my father) was Joseph Smith. We are putting together a family tree and would welcome all sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles of Josiah and Jane. It appears that Josiah and Jane were never legally married. At his death Josiah left a widow Sadie (Hall) Smith in Cannonsburg, Pa with 2 daughters, whom he hadn't seen in 18 years. This family tree reads like a romance novel.
