I have Anna Train Trevet in my line. She was born in 1811 in Godmanstone, Dorset. Married Edwin George Pople in 1833, and died in 1878. Do you think we have a connection?

I don't think so, Litton Cheney is the birth place, then the Weymouth district.

Sally,
You have mentioned an interest in TREVETT from Litton Cheney. As you must know, there were oodles of them from there. Do you want to mention a name or two? For instance, I am descended from Thomas TREVETT (bapt. 28 Apr 1728 Litton Cheney) & Grace BROWN, who married at Litton on 16 Jul 1750.

Sally,

Sorry, I can't immediately see a link to your Thomas Trevett born 1862 Litton Cheney. I am assuming that he was the son of David Trevett (c. 1825), who was perhaps the son of Francis Trevett / Ann (Mayers ?) who married at Litton on 30 Mar 1807.

I have seen your post re Edwin George Pople and Anna Train Trevet.
I have these in my direct line and would be keen for any info on them and going backwards. My forward link is through their son Josiah.
I have only just started my research so any help is appreciated.
Many thanks.
