I have an Agnes Murdoch married to James McCrone, they had a daughter Mary McCrone born in Dalmellington in 1780. James McCrone's oldest daughter Barbara was born in Dalmellington in1760, but I don't know if Agnes was her mother. Do you have any information on these Murdochs?

I am researching the above names in Ayrshire. The oldest information I have is mainly in the area of New Cumnock, although some is from Ochiltree and Mauchline. I would be happy to share this info with anyone that could help with my search.

Hi Vanessa, I have an Elizabeth Glover b 1774 Kilmarnock. Her sister Agnes is my 4 Gr. Grandmother. The dates are so close it made me wonder if there was a connection!
