I know that my line of Bosch in Cuba is found in Las Villas Province. My paternal grandmother being Eloina Perez Bosch, and her father and mother (my great-grandparents) being Servando Perez Diaz and Ana Bosch y Gonzalez. The parents of Ana Bosch Gonzalez were Rafael Bosch and Josefa Gonzalez. This is as far as I have been able to go at the present time. I once read, in a book I no longer remember the title of, that there was a Spanish Army Lieutenant in the early 1800s that was garrisoned in the small town of La Esperanza, located 14 kilometers away from Santa Clara. I also know that a long time ago, someone told my brother (deceased) that Pepin Bosch (also deceased of course), CEO for a long time of Bacardi, the rum manufacturer (I believe, married to a Bacardi), was also of this line. The last name Bosch, of Catalonian roots in Spain, seems to have gone there in a German migration that took place many, but many years ago. I will continue searching, as soon as I have some time, and as soon as I can re-contact my source in Santa Clara. I will post any further findings in the Bulletin Board.
