I’m seeking information and photographs on the Leverette family in relationship to Elizabeth Armstrong Leverette and her husband Andrew Jackson (Sr.) Kimbrell. She was born about 1815 in Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia, and died 1887 in Berry, Fayette County, Alabama.

Again, I don't have a lot in terms of the later generations, I just have that Elizabeth married Andrew Jackson Kimbrell. One of their children was Thomas Kimbrell, b. 5-17-1846 d. 10-7-1901. Thomas married Susan J. Tipper, b 3-10-1847, d. 9-20-1903 (mentioned in previous posting). They had a child named Savannah (aka Susannah, Savanner, Lanana) Elizabeth Kimbrell, b. 10-22-1867 in Fayette Co, AL, d. 6-1-1944 in Fayette Co, AL. Buried in New Hope Cemetery.

Savannah married James Pleasant Aldridge on 8-31-1891 in Fayette County, Alabama. James "Ples" was born on 1-1-1871 in Alabama and died 9-23-1961 in Fayette Co, AL. Buried in same cem. as Savannah.

What photograph are you talking about? I have over 700 photographs posted on my family web site.

I have several photographs sent to me by unknown individuals, or by relatives not wanting their names posted as the provider of a photograph.

Moreover, I'm not not perfect, for I make mistakes. So tell me which photograph you would like to have your name posted on as the provider?

Anyhow, the photo was given to me by David Aldridge of Ohio, so it may very well be he who gave it to you - that's why I'm curious. I lost contact with him after I graduated from college and I would love to get back in contact with him. Also, it looks like the photo on your site is a higher definition copy, which is good, b/c mine is grainy. So is it the one from the site I sourced above, or is there a different source? If it is from a different source, can you please pass along my information to them? If not, can you please cite the source as David Aldridge of Ohio as presented by Sabrina Aldridge.
