I am searching for information on these Boyd brothers - John "Tanner" Boyd, Charles A. Boyd, James "Major" Boyd, Alexander Boyd, and Andrew J. Boyd. These brothers and other relatives, moved to Lincoln Co after the Civil War. All came from Chester Co, SC. They may have arrived before Lincoln Co was formed and it's possible some may have been in "precursor" counties.
