Looking for proof of which Joseph Attaway in SC and GA that was father of my William (also known brother David) who went to TN abt 1830 was married to Nicey Draper. Information I have on Joseph is that he was in Rev War at battle of Cowpens and was injured. I need his wife's name to separate the many Josephs located in this area at the time. I'm guessing he had to have been born between 1755 and 1765 to have been in that battle and that he died before 1850 census. I have several possible wives for the many Josephs, i.e. Jane Wilcox, Edith Nations,Goolspring Unknown.
