I picked Boyle co. because most of my line goes/comes/resides around Boyle Co. KY. James Henry Evans was born in NC in 1831 d. in 1902 in KY. He owned the farm at Perryville that a battle of the Civil War was fought. He was a Methodist member and was baptized in the creek at the little country church "Willow Grove". a Stone mason by trade. he had 2 brothers, John Lester and Dodridge and 1 sister Pamela Jane. His wife died in 1910. They had 3 children, William Thomas b 1862, Pamela Jane b 1866 and James Marion b 1870. I would like his parents names if they are listed on an obit, or something else. I don't have them.
