Yes, Mahala Maggard wife of Jasper Boggs is the daugter of Sherman Maggard and Mary Brown. That's what my grandmother has written down and my grandmother is the daughter of Mahala and Jasper and she was named Mary, after her grandmother.

Marcilous had two brothers...price and logan and two sister polly and sophia. it is true that polly and sofhia were sent to a orphanage and the boys were raised by an aunt. i know some shillinglaws and believe they are descendents of polly or sophia? marcilous (moss) married evelyn fields and had 10 children. three of the ten are living.

Yes Sophia married a shillinglaw. That is how they connect to the family. Polly (my grandmother) married a Myers.
Polly had 10 kids, and lived to be 88 years old. So her descendents go on and on. She still has 3 living children, my father Arthur Stephen being one.
