DeEtta Rust, 83, of Indianapolis, formerly of Erlanger, Kentucky, died Friday at her home. She was a retired dental assistant. Her husband, former Erlanger Police Chief, John William Sparks, preceded her in death. Survivors are a daughter, Dona Leinart of Indianapolis; three grandsons and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at Linnermann Funeral Home in Erlanger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger.

Just a Clarification, DeEtta Rust was married to Erlanger Police Chief John William Rust, Her maden name was DeEtta Masters. Her father was Willie Masters
