Virgil W. Arnett, 51, died yesterday at his residence in the Craig Hotel. He had resided in Indianapolis, Indiana for 50 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Hovious of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Gladys Cecil of Ventura, California; two brothers, Claude P. and Russell Arnett, both of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. [dated December 9, 1948]
