Dawson, 89, Franklin
Manor Nursing Home, were conducted Wednesday, September 6, 1989, at
Harrod Brothers Memorial
Chapel in
Frankfort. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. He died Tuesday, September 5, at the nursing home following a long illness. A native of
Anderson County, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Memorial
Baptist Church. Survivors include seven stepdaughters, Helen
Wingate, Sarah
Tincher, Kathleen
Conway, Lula
Stigers, and Jean Ruth, all of
Frankfort, Hazel Lewis, Versailles, and Peggy
Cobb, Lexington; a brother,
Noble Dawson, Louisville; two sisters, Artie Mary Brown, Louisville, and Lucille
Clark, Shelbyville. He was the son of the late John H. Dawson and Maggie F. Watson
Dawson and the widower of
Della Stigers Dawson.
