Taylor Searcy, 88, Versailles, died Thursday, October 5, 1989, at his residence. He was a retired state government Engineering Department employee, a member of the Mt. Edwin Church, and the widower of Mattie Flora Searcy. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Neal, Versailles; a son, Shirley Searcy, Lexington; and five grandchildren. A daughter, Roberta Lewis, is deceased. Services were conducted at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County.
