Harvey Allen
Beasley Jr., 72, formerly of
Frankfort,
Kentucky, died Saturday night, April 21, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, a retired employee of the
Kentucky State
Highway Department, a seven-time decorated
Army veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post 4075 and the First Christian Church,
Frankfort. Survivors include three daughters, Ann B. Moore,
Macon, Georgia; Mary C. Giltner, Brookport,
Illinois and Susan
Beasley, Versailles; a son, Robert A. Beasley,
Cheshire, Connecticut; five sisters,
Faye Hyatt, Evelyn
Samples,
Madge Buntain, and Bertha
Ritchie, all of Lawrenceburg, and Agnes Gray, Frankfort; two brothers, Henry L. Beasley, Lawrenceburg, and Roy
Beasley,
Wilmington, North Carolina; and seven grandchildren. Services were conducted Tuesday, April 24, at
Rogers Funeral Home,
Frankfort. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens,
Woodford County, with VFW Post 4075 members conducting graveside services.
