Services for Mae Estes Gaines, 92, Owenton, will be 2 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Owenton IOOF Cemetery. She died Tuesday at Owen County Memorial Hospital. The Owen County native was a housewife and a member of South Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Bobby Gaines and Donald Gaines, both of Owenton, and Carl Gaines, Madison, Indiana; a daughter, Betty Wilhoite, Owenton; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary O'Banion Estes; and was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Gaines. Friends may call Thursday at the funeral Home.
