FLORA GODDARD was born on April 7, 1902 in Hanna, OK to Leo and Nancy Miriam Pendly, married Loren Burtis GODDARD on May 23, 1931, and died Nov. 9, 2001 in Santa Cruz. CA. Services were Nov. 11, 2001 at Santa Cruz followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernadino, CA.

Survivors include a son, Clinton 66, grandchildren Chris, Tim, Steve, and Clint Goddard; twelve great-grandchildren; and sisters, Belle Thompson 94 of Arizona, and Emma Stanford 92 of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990.

(Flora and Loren also had a daughter Peggy) PEGGY MODINE POOCH, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005, in her Santa Cruz, California home after a long illness. She was 73. Peggy was born in Buckeye, Arizona, on June 2, 1932, the daughter of Loren and Flora Goddard, and lived in San Bernardino, Redlands and San Jose, California, before residing in Santa Cruz since 1980. Peggy was an executive banking secretary until 1965. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, bowling, camping and traveling. She was a member of the Oklahoma Choctaw Indian Nation. Peggy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard POOCH of Santa Cruz; daughter, Leslie Juri and her husband, Steve of Reno, Neva da; son, John POOCH of Santa Cruz; granddaughter, Darci Hayhurst and her fiance', Chuck Welchert of Reno; granddaughter, Rebecca Maniaci of Ceres, California; grandson, Alexander POOCH of Felton, California; brother, Clinton Goddard of San Bernardino, California; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Private family services have been held at Santa Cruz Memorial, with a remembrance gathering for relatives and friends planned for a later date. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Ameri can Diabetes Association, or the American Heart Association.
