I am just starting to do my genealogy. I'm interested in the surname JACOBS. My grandfather's name was Jim JACOBS. His brothers were: Quince, Bob, Willie, Bryant, Herbert, Talmage, John and Joe JACOBS from Stidham, McIntosh County, OK. Jim moved with his wife, Adosha, and seven children (six girls and one boy) to Sacramento, CA about June, 1943. (Also, the surname NORTHCUT is on the back of a family picture / Carrie Ross NORTHCUT and Marry Ellen NORTHCUT.) If anyone has any information that might help I would appreciate hearing from you. Hi I am working on my ggrandpa's sisters and brothers. I'm trying to find their families and write them up for my family tree. I have been working on Sallie Jump married William Jacobs. These are the names I got of their children. I found in the 1930 census a grandson named John W. Northcutt living with William and Sallie. Was Carrie and Mary Ellen married to a Northcutt? I also have a grandaughter living with Sallie's parents named Julie Jacobs. Julie is never living in the household with Sallie and William. She was born before they got married and I don't know of another child of Simeon Robert and Margaret marrying a Jacobs. So do you know anything about that? I could use some help. Thanks Patti
