Mrs. Dan Beleu from Shawnee, OK is listed as a cousin in my great-grandmother's(Letha Benton), brother's obit. His name was Charlie M. Benton. He died June 12, 1964 in Bonham, TX. Their parents were Frank and Martha Benton but evidently Charlie was raised by his grandparents, Franklin and Letha Shoemake, and later lived with an uncle, George Shoemake.

We did not realize that my great-grandmother even had a brother until a few years ago.
