Jeff was born around 1875
Shelly was born 1876 Colleton Co., S.C. Shelly was the daughter of Henry Washington Beach and Sarah Annie Warren...

My step-father's first wife was Maggie Lee Herndon from Bamberg. She is deceased. I know many of her relatives. They have a big reunion every year. If you want to get in touch with these people, please let me know.

Thanks for the reply. I would certainly like to get in touch with those Herndons and exchange genealogical data if possible. I have a large amount of info, but plenty of blank spots!!! Right off the bat, I don't remember having a Maggie in my files so this may be all new stuff for me. Let me know of the possibilities. Take care...

In "The Life and Descendants of James Goodwin" shows that Shelly A. Beach comes from this line. It says that her mother was Elizabeth Jane Saunders B March 5, 1851 D Jan 14, 1913 married a Henry Washington Beach B May 1, 1848 D March 26, 1930. They had nine children.
Elizabeth Jane Saunders was the daughter of Elizabeth "Betsy" Goodwin and Griffin Garris Saunders. Elizabeth "Betsy" Goodwin was the oldest daughter of James Goodwin and Sennie Carter.
David SMoak Sr. daughter Mary married John Goodwin which is Elizabeth brother.
You most likely have already found this out. I have seen where Tom Atkinson have gave you some information.

Ellen M. Herndon (married name) 15 Dec 1866- 21 May 1915 wife of Jim E. Herndon 3 Oct 1860 22 Jun 1925, daughter Marry "Minnie" Elizabeth Herndon Hiott, wife of Wilson Lawrence Hiott, all resting at Bethel United Methodist Church, S.C. Hwy. 21 abt. 3 miles west of Bells Cross Roads.
