Seeking information regarding the following families who were in the St. Bartholomew's area of Colleton Co. prior to 1800.
William Robertson and wife Sarah (nee?)enumerated on the 1790 census of St. Bartholomew's Parrish.
Their son John Robertson b. 1786 Colleton Co, SC moved into the Florida Territory ca. 1832 with his wife Susannah Stanley and their family. John and Susannah were married 1807 in Colleton Co. by the Methodist Minister McCormick. Their children were George Lafayette b. 1809 m. Susan Rebecca Johnston; Eliza Ann M. b. 1813 m. James C. Lemacks; Rebecca b. 1814 m. Stephen Blocker; John W. b. 1815 m. Sarah Ann Whitehurst; Carrell Elonzo H. b. 1818 m. Serena Whitehurst; twins Allen B. (never married) and James Russell b. 1820 m. Cassandra M. Johnston; Sarah Harriett b. 1823 m. William Hutto Durrance; Susannah W. b. 1826 m. George Tison; Charity b. 1828 married Robert A. McAulay; and Margaret A. b. 1830 married Jackson Sylvester Redbrook.
Probable daughter of William and Sarah Robertson was Eleanor Robertson who married Absolem Carrell (son of Absolem Carrell, Sr?)1804 in Colleton Co. She and her husband moved to the Mississippi Territory shortly after they were married and Absolem Carrell died 1829 in Jones Co.
