Surnames: COPELAND, NEWMAN
Does anyone know where Ripley Copeland is buried in modern Lee county? He served in the Revolution and died in 1843.
How about Jonathan Newman who ran Newman's ferry on Lynches River? Supposedly he served with the Swamp Fox. Possibly died just prior to 1824.
