Ashton married Mary Ann
Groves at Pewsey. The only children I know of are Thomas b 27 Feb 1867 and Alice
Ashton b 22 April 1873. Mary died in 1873 aged 37 years.

Ashton jnr married Emily
Clements on the 16 July 1887 at
Charlton near Pewsey.Thomas and father Thomas were both farm labourers and lived in tied cottages at
Swan Corner in Pewsey. Thomas jnr was later a groom for Walter
Rawlins.
Emma and Thomas went on to have nine children, Francis, who died at North Tidworth, Florence, Edith, Ethel, Elsie, Alfred. Arthur, Katie and Edward.
