Uncle, brother to my
Gran Florence.
His first wife was
Ada Wilde born in 1886 at Marlborough, she died in 1916.

Arthur Francis William
Ashton b 1907, he was married to Minnie. He was known as Son or Sonny and the family emigrated to New Zealand
Edith
Ashton born in 1911, Her married name was
Taylour.
Phyllis
Doreen Ashton born in 1914. Her married name was
Andrews, she was living at Ludgershall near
Andover in 1974 and died in 1990.
Frank's second wife was
Olive Grace Irene
Littlefield who was born 1 June 1891 at Fareham. I think her first husband
Bertie Sims was killed in WW1 (this is to be confirmed)
Olive went to live with her step-daughter Phyllis and died in
Sailsbury hospital in 1974.
Frank and Olive's children were,
Leslie
Ashton born in 1922 in the
Andover area. Leslie married Martha
Millyard who was born in South
Shields abt 1934
Alfred
Ashton b 1924 in the Pewsey area
Wilfred Thomas
Ashton born at South
Shute in 1929. He married Doris Elsie Laurie b 1928 at Woolwich. She died in 1975 and is buried at North Tidworth.
Irene
Ashton born in 1931 in the Pewsey area, possibly North Tidworth. Her married name was
Ayres.
