Edna Murphy Bailey, 91, of Cross Lanes died Oct. 31, 2009. Arrangements will be under the care of Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston, with burial in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Edna Murphy Bailey, 91, of Lake Chaweva, Cross Lanes, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009.
A lifelong resident of the Kanawha Valley, Edna was a housewife and mother of three. She was a member of the Stewart Park Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Bailey Sr.

Edna is survived by daughters, Joyce Payne and husband, Bob, of Temple Terrace, Fla., and Charlene Bailey of Cross Lanes; son, Ed Bailey of Charleston; granddaughters and their husbands, Robin and Jeff White of Sissonville and Polly Payne and Mike Pepper of Temple Terrace, Fla.; great-grandsons, Miles Reed and Logan and Hunter White.

A private family graveside service to honor the life of Edna Bailey will be held in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Online condolences may be sent through the Honoring Life Condolence Center at snodgrassfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Florida College, Adopt Program, 119 N. Glen Arven, Temple Terrace, FL 33617, or a non-profit organization of your choosing.

Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston, is handling the arrangements.
