As a point of caution, PLEASE, do your own research. All the old books and much of the information "
Beach" copiers use has errors. Unfortunatley, these errors are perpetuated and taken as truths. These old resources should be taken as a starting point for your research, not copied or relied upon. Our DNA Project has proven that these error have occurred as many early documents were assemble by assumption and name only.
If you are looking to verify your families lineage, I would recommend having a male
Beach relative join our DNA Project, this would assist in determining, if in fact, your family descends from the "Theoretical" three New
Haven brothers.
Many other Beaches arrived in British North
America during the 17th century. Many of these carry the same name and are genetically linked, albeit not from the New
Haven Colony Beaches.
I have data from
Beach families that connect to the New
Haven Beaches via their paper lineage, when completing the DNA tests, they are not related and have a different haplo group.
A good researcher has 3 documents for each detail if possible. In the best scenario 2 of these will confirm that piece of data.
I hope a new researcher will be just that, a true researcher not a copier of previous errors.
At this time, we have one researcher from Richard's lineage, it would be wonderful to have others from this lineage and help establish his validity.

Best regards and enjoy your research.
