Seeking connections with this family. Peterson Boon was born in NC and married Martha Bray, daughter of Henry Bray and Martha Moody of Chatham County, NC some time around 1840. They were on the 1840 and 1850 censuses in Oktibbeha County, MS. Also on the 1841and 1845 MS state censuses. Peterson G. Boon was listed on the 1850 slave schedule in Oktibbeha County, MS. He must have died between 1850 and 1860, since Martha is a widow on every census subsequent to 1850.

Three children are Mary b 1842, Oscar D b 1845 and William H. b 1847. After Peterson disappeared from view, Martha lived in Winston County, MS where she died.
