Helen Arlene Brandt, 89, passed away Jan. 10, 2009 in Sequim, Clallam County, WA. She was born Jan. 13, 1919 in Seattle, WA to Edith (Baker) and Robert Borger.

Helen married Frederick Henry Leo Brandt on Dec. 26, 1958 in Edmonds, WA, who later passed Aug. 16, 1994. She attended Seattle Pacific University and later became teacher for Kings Garden Junior high School for 14 yrs and Butler Junior High School for 15 yrs. Helen was a 3 times cancer survivor and was a member of the Central Kitsap Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons; Delbert Brandt of Clermont, FL, Ron Brandt of Fallon, NV, Dennis Brandt of Bremerton, WA, Fred Brandt of Sequim, WA, Tom Brandt of Seabeck, WA; Daughter, Edith Alson of Orange, CA, 20 Grandchildren and 44 Great-great-grandchildren.

There was a Memorial celebration of her life at the Poulsbo Yacht Club on Jan. 11, 2009. There will be a private graveside service. Memorial contributions can be made to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County PO Box 2014 540 E. 8th Ave., Port Angeles, WA 98362.
