John is pictured in the 1915 Roundup, yearbook of Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He is a senior. I'm not kin but thought this might help another researcher.

I am seeking a document proving that Diademia Caskey, b 15 Sept 1817 in Morgan County, KY is the daughter of John Caskey and Hannah Lewis. Diademia married Peter Henry Amyx 22 Feb 1838. She died d 14 April 1865. This is for proof in DAR lineage and they have rejected the documentation in the book "Descendants of Thomas Lewis and Hannah Hopkins" by Henry Lewis. Any help would be appreciated.

I know that I am posting to old old messages, but I am hoping that someone can help me I have my family back to John and Esther Caskey, it took me a long time because there is so much wrong information posted on the web but if there are many people searching, I am sure there are some of you that have it all sorted out by now.

I know that there were two John Caskey's in S.Carolina at this time and what I want to know is did both serve in the Revolution. I know that some people have applied the proofs to both of the john Caskeys.

Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate it. My head is hurting from hitting this brick wall.

I am a relative of Robert Caskey. Just started our family tree. Many of my relatives are from the area, infact, I grew up in Columbia and still have a brother and 3 nephews in Columbia. Pls let me know what you have so far. I have taken Robert Caskey back several generations.

I am the descendant of Charles Caskey. These are the New York Caskey's. Many of the names that you have, I have. I have deeds, mortgages, bonds that link these individuals together.
Charles Caskey had three sisters Anna, Lottie, and Minnie.Anna married Lincoln Gallup ( Irish Hollow, Pa) Lottie married ALbert A Aughton, (Otisville, New York), Minnie married James H Stalker,(Pickville, Pa) Can't find Mother or Father. Charles married three times. Please Contact me. We have many of the same people.

Samuel Caskey, wife Mary Ann and four daughters arrived in Philadelphia on the Schooner Enterprize during the quarter ending 30 September 1820. His occupation is listed as farmer. The family is shown as coming from Ireland.

Gary, I looked you up in my genealogy and I have you listed as my 6th cousin 2x removed. Your father was born in Ohio in 1948 and his father was emmett caskey born in 1924. The line I have keeps going back until it comes to my 5th great grandfather Samuel Caskey. I have been working on my moms caskey line for many years now. Seeking information on B. F. Caskey who apparently married Nancy Ramsey sometime in the 1860s in Louisiana or Texas.
He and she purchased land in Bastrop County, Texas in the 1800s. Other than the deed records, I have not found another trace of him. He was probably born in the 1820s.

I am trying to locate information on Ann Caskey who married Edward Dewey Ike, who was born on 6/16/1898 and died on 12/17/1981 in Hackettstown, Warren County, New Jersey. He is buried in the plot of his parents at Union Cemetery, Stanhope, N.J. They lived in the Morris/Warren County, N.J. area. In the Kentucky Explorer, January, 1997 I find this query by Mrs. Dayton Royse (Elmira McGuire Royce), 1633 Queenstown RD, Oklahoma City, OK 73116, “Who were the parents of James McGuire b. 29 May 1794, KY, d. 4 June 1863, Morgan Co., KY, married 14 Oct 1813 Floyd Co., KY Hannah Caskey, b. 15 Nov. 1795, New York, daughter of Thomas and Lydia (Hopkins) Caskey?”

I have seen this query in other places many times and never an answer. I find this family and descendants living in Morgan Co., KY, Montgomery Co., KY and later in Oklahoma. Although I do not think this family is in my line, I would be happy to share the records I’ve found for them on Ancestry and know the answer to this query to tidy my McGuire records up just a bit.

You sound like me. I moved to Texas from Indiana when i was 8 years old and have lived here ever since. Very rarely do i have any contact with any of my family up north now. Altho my grandfather, Dale Edwin Caskey, does live in St. Cloud, FL. At least i think he still does. I havent heard from him in years. :(

Wilbur Ernest Caskey- b: 30 jun 1909 in Sharon Center, Medina, OH. d: 13 aug 1990 in Sacramento, Sacramento, CA. He married Harriet Ann Wierzchowski- b: 20 apr 1915 in OH
d: 17 aug 1984 Napa, Napa, CA. They had 3 children together: 2 sons and a daughter. I dont have any names or dates for them.

The only information i have on Ethel E. Caskey - b: 1905 in Sharon Center, Medina, OH. d: abt 1970 She was married to William P. Stark - b: abt 1907 in OH. They had 1 daughter Dorothy I. Stark- b: jun 1929 Cuyahoga Co., OH. She is married to ? Urban.

If you need any information on my other grandparents, Andrew Caskey etc, let me know. :) Looking at my kinship report and if you are J. N. Turner (i used initials ;) ) then you are my 3rd cousin once removed. In short, we are cousins! :)

I don't have any of Wilbur Caskey's family, and the only person I have from Ethel is daughter Dorothy, so any and all help is welcomed. This is how I am connected to the Caskeys....
