Lisa, Now I am switching to the Gelinas family. Isaac Gelinas on Vitaline Gelinas Gelinas's side and Narcisse Gelinas on Albert's side are brothers. So their parents are Augustin (Laguste) Gelinas, father; and Marie-Louise Pelletier, mother.
I have info. way back to Guillaume Jullineau (Gelineau). Sorry I don't have a digital camera so I don't have pics. to post. I could send some by reg. mail.

How is Judy? I haven't been in contact with her in a long time. I have been in NC for 53 years.
Lorraine

Hi Lorraine - My husband is also descended from Vitaline and Albert Gelinas through their son, Leo. His daughter Judy is my husband's mother.
You must be descended from his sister, Irene - is that right? If so, you would be a first cousin to my mother in law. If you have any pictures of this family I would love to have copies. If you do, we could work out details of getting them later.

I've gotten more information since I posted a couple of years ago. While I was researching the Cloutier family, J-Roger Cloutier sent me a Cloutier family card that goes back to the late 1500s in France. I tried to attach it, but the program won't let me. I've sent you a closed message asking for your email address so i can send it to you.

Take care,
Lisa

Eileen Sovie was my grandmother who lived on Kiah street. I belive a relative lived beside her on the end of the block. It was that house and then my grandmother's house. It might have been her sister. When I was very little, I used to go over there a lot, but I don't remember her name. I remember a Levi Sovie and I think her brother, Harold. Eileen Sovie married my Grandfather, Lawrence Clouthier and had for 4 boys, my father and my uncles.

Thank you so much with your help. I am new to this and I have been trying to find something on this family and I though posting something would help. I never expected to get as much help as I have. I give to you my greatest apprication for all that you have done.
