Corp family history

Lamont L. Corp  (View posts) Posted: 15 Apr 2000 9:12PM GMT
I`ve been reading the message board for the
Corp name and found my Fathers name when
Dianna Wright was looking for Leon Corp.
Here is what I know of my part of the Corp
family. William I Corp 1874-1942 was my
grandfather, John Corp 1853-1915 was my
great grandfather. Both are buried at the Ovid Mi. cemetery. Ovid is near Owosso Mi.
If anyone can fill in more on this info, please contact me.

I am also researching my Corp line and recently found that my ggrandfather, Ross or John Corp was born in Ohio, moved to MO, then moved to CO, married my ggrandmother, Bettie Owens, and ranched cattle in Cotopaxi. We know very little about him prior to his life in CO. Would like to find his parents, siblings, anything.

Joy, I do have John Corp in my line, however. you did not mention the year for the John you are reserching. My Corp family lived in the late 1700 and early 1800. If this is your dates, write me at crbking@webtv.net, with this information and I will see if I can help you. Carolyn

Classification: Query
I have some information on the Corp Family from Washington Co. Ohio. My second Great Grandfather was John Hilton and his second wife was mary Thonely Corp.

I have some info I got 15 years ago at the national Archives but have yet to be able to fit all the pieces together. I have info on John S. Corp, Benjamin franklin Corp, Abigail Corp, and Thomas S. Corp.

Much of it is difficult to read as it is handwritten affidavits regarding Civil War pensions.

Anybody have any info or need any on these people???
