Here is the information that I have collected pertaining to the Georgia Crains. It doesn't answer all your questions but some of the information may be useful. I copied it intact. None is my research. JCE

she was 1st married to James Darden (1774 - 1802)and had 3 children by James

Both are buried at Bethel Baptist Church, Heard County, Georgia

They had 9 children.

It is very possible that my family and many others are connected to Spencer. The same time Spencer and family were in Wilkes County, GA there were many more Crain families. They all lived in the same general area, Malitia District Q. It is possible that Spencer is the brother of Ambrose and Philemon Crain, no proof yet but with our DNA study we hope to solve this relationship. Randy Crain 5/17/04
