Surnames: YOUNG DAY HOOKER
Im searching for William, unknown birth date... died 1795 in Childwick Green, Herts. He was the grandson of John Gunnell,
Crow End, St. Pauls walden. He married a woman named Susan. Had a daughter Mary (widow), that inherited Cross Keys Inn in Luton,Bds. She married Richard Hooker in Feb 1777 in either Redbourn or St. Albans..Marys daughter Cornealia married William Young of Luton(1803). This is the only info on William Day that I can find. Im hoping someone with a possible lead on more info, might possibly feel like sharing with me.

If you check the Allen Marriage Index at https://www.hertsdirect.org/ufs/ufsmain?esessionid=97C497D39... there's a marriage on 14 Oct 1777 at St Michaels, St Albans between Richard Hooker of Redbourn and Mary Day. I imagine the IGI entry at Redbourn on 5 Oct 1777 was the banns, which the IGI has incorrectly entered as a marriage.

The Allen Marriage Index has a match between William Day and Susanna Whit on 30 Sept 1753 at Sandridge, which is a mile from Childwick Green

If you check the IGI and just complete the parents box - william - day - susanna and Hertfordshire you'll get a list of their children baptised at St Albans St Andrew between 1757 (Mary) and 1776.
