I am compiling Dixon tree branching from origins in Kent, England. Have got back to 1300s when one married into a titled family. Also have a few stories.
Others moved to usa, aus and over uk.
Any links out there?

Jenny,

Are you still working on this Dixon tree? Would love to swap details and stories. We have traced our Dixon ancestry so far back to mid 1500's: a Walter Dixon, Yeoman, of Coldred, Kent, England. He married Philippa Dering of Pluckley in 1567.

My Australian line of the Dixons originates from Newton-le-Willows in Lancashire. Catherine Dixon nee Hughes (widow of Henry) was transported to Australia in 1837 with her children: Thomas, Edward, Sarah and Catherine.
Anyone connections?
