Germany, married, laborer, parents b. Germany; Mary, 54 b. Germany, wife, keeps house, parents b. Germany; Henry, 25 b. Oh, son, single, machinist, parents b. Germany; George, 19 b. Oh, son, single, cigar maker; Maggie, 15 b. Oh, daughter, single, seamstress.  The residents of this neighborhood were overwhelmingly of German origin.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;1890-91 Directory for Cincinnati, Oh:&lt;br&gt;Bernard H. I live close to Alstaette/Germany and right now my cousin is doing some research on genealogy. He says he has some historie back to te 16th century.       <description>Gerhard Ante and his family are my relatives.  His wife's mother was Mary or Maria Efkemann.  I'm thinking that all of the Efkemanns are related but I haven't found the link yet.  Have you tried to get birth and death certificates?  I did a lot of research recently in Cincinnati.  When I go over the material I will keep your Efkemanns in mind and let you know if I found any information on your family.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Kathy</description>
