My name is Breda and my maiden name is English. I'm from Co Tipperary, Ireland. There are lots of English's around here. You need to change the name of your town when you are searching for your ancestor. It should be Mitchelstown. It is in the NorthEastt of county Cork and not too far from the Tipperary border. (4 miles)
Check out the website www.brsgenealogy.com . The Tipperary/Limerick end of it is good but the Cork end not so hot. Mitchelstown is in an area of Cork that is 1 mile from the Limerick border and 4 miles from Tipperary.
