Joseph Esh left the English
Army when canada became independant of England, and settled in Ontario..immigrated to the US via Michigan. He married an Elizabeth Pere (from Spain)..I need to identify his parents etc to expand my spouses family tree. HELP

What years would your Esh family have lived? Do you know where they lived in the US? I have a John Esh that would have been living in Holmes County, Oh in 1845 that married Sarah Ann Brubaker. They had at least two children: Mary (1846) and Jacob J. (1850).

Joseph is also my ancestor and I can trace him back for several genewrations and forward too. how do I contact you to get info to you and how is your wife decended from Joseph? Cousins?

when it rains, it pours...I would love to get my grubbies on that family data. I have just acquired a family trace back to before 1650 in England, Australia and the USA, and your info might just fill in the gaps. I would be glad to share what I found. Ancestry.com has most of it as well under Robert or Richard Esh...the gedcom file is a beaut.

That's into my territory now! Been conversing with David Esh in Australia and Virginia Esh in northern Wisconsin.
This could get very big! I've some 2,100 persons in the family tree with half connected to Esh

Hola..Either one will do..at least the two that i found had a common gedcom file..its very much like the info you might have picked up from David Jo in Australia..but might have a few more dates in some places. I would love to get my eyeballs on that 2100 person database..and do some connecting.
