I am looking to trace my family tree. My grandfather Wilfred B. Ferguson II who was married to Lucielle (Lucy Banks) had several children:

Beverly Ferguson (Dinkins)
Winifred Ferguson (Bell)
Yvonne Ferguson

I was told that I have some family in North or South Carolina

There were a large number of Fergusons in Va. Nc, and SC.
One of the family lines descended from Robert Ferguson born
about 1700 in Scotland and another line descended from
John Ferguson born about 1650 in Scotland, O know of no connection of the 2 lines. In the event you are able to get some more information on the ancestors of your Wilfred please email me. I might could then gel but I have no

Elsie, this is my husbands family you posted, he comes from John Ferguson who married Amanda Anderson. Do you know which Gray family Andrews wife Elizabeth came from? Don't know if we have shared work before. I don't have Andrews line back either.

My 5great grandfather Andrew M. Ferguson was born 1787 in Ireland. He married Sarah UNKNOWN in South Carolina. They ended up settling in Jefferson Co. Illinois. He had 11 children. Does this relate to John Ferguson of 1650 in Ireland?

I may have info for you. My great great great was andrew m ferguson who was married to a sarah. My great great was andrew c. married to nancy troutt and my great was samuel and my grand was James andrew married to anna farmer.

I find it interesting that we have so many names in common. My Fergusons are not married to the women you list but I have Andrew M. (1841 - 1900) married to Mary Davis, then Andrew C. (1871 _ ?) married to Maggie Lou Redmond. I have five Samuel's: Samuel (1814-1902), Samuel (1832 - ?) Samuel J. (1880-?) Samuel L. (1871-?), and Samuel P. (1830-?).

I also have the following Farmers because Alma Ferguson , daughter of Elbert L. Ferguson and Louisa Arbezenia Owens, married William Vance. There children were: Belva Roberta, Elizabeth, Ellen. Gladys Rosalie, Mabel Clara, Marcus, Mary Lucille, and Wayne Farmer
