I don't know of your family, but you won't get answer's posting that way either. So try this.
What is your grandfather's full name, where in ky do you think he was born, who was his wife, children, brother's, sister's, parent's?
Tell us everything you do know about him, then maybe we can make a connection. Where did he live his entire life, when and where did he pass away?
All of this or even some of it would be very helpful.
Then try posting at Genforum in the Fletcher forum. and keep asking till you get an answer, or a possible lead.
And remember, names tend to change spelling, and dates are usually approximated, due to info being passed down by word of mouth, or through family bibles.
Try using birth, death, marriage, and census records for more accuracy when you compile enough info that you can go find them.
