I have lots of info on the Baumgartner's, Rosalie was my great aunt, her brother, William was my GGrandfather.
I do have Rosalie & Francois, dob and marriage date, also I show 6 children, Alexander, Arthur, William, Anna Rosalie, Philip & Cecilia and I have their dob. All were born in New Orleans, as was Rosalie. Her Father, Rudolph came to NO in 1836 from Switzerland with his parents and at least 2 brothers. If you are interested in this info, please e-mail me at jans884@bellsouth.net

Sorry for delay, had problems with my DSL and my phone line, would really love to share info with you.

This may be of interest, Rosalie had a brother, Benjamin who
must have moved to MS, because I found record of his death 5/24/1892 in Lake Mary, MS. I show that Benjamin and his son, Conrad, died on the same day, both in Lake Mary, MS. Not sure where Lake Mary is or how close it might be to Biloxi. My Baumgartner's, or part of them, seem to have just disappeared from New Orleans in the late 1800's, so now I wonder if some of them might have migrated to MS.

Received your message. I have not been able to find anything but a birth certificate and obit for my great grandfather. All were supposed to be buried in Biloxi city cemetary. No record there on graves, however, some records destroyed or not kept years ago. His son Francois Marin left NY and remarried in Mexico but lived in Corpus Christi Texas until he died in 1952. I only recently started to look for this side of the family and still learning how to dig for info. Have lots on my fathers side but hard going on the Marin side. I may be able to get some info from my Aunts and a couple of cousins that I just recieved addresses for. My mother doesn't remember very much as she was 16 when she last saw any of those here in MS. They must not have been on Social Security rolls after it came about, as I find none of them there, except for the children born to my grandfather. Do not know where Lake Mary is but will look into it. E-mail me at bchbms@earthlink.net ed

My Great Great Great Grandfather was Paul Lamant Francois who was born around 1820 & lived in New Orleans. He marred a Amelia Connebet. There may be a connection, but I am not sure.
