Hello, I looking for an "Akat Francois who died 1918/1/31, age 71, St. Mary's Reserve, British Columbia (this reserve is near Cranbrook, B.C.). She was born 1847?, and I'm wondering if she was the lst wife of Peter Dunlevy of Soda Creek, B.C. Possible children of this union were Thomas and James (Dunlevy) both born in Soda Creek. I understand delays - life intervenes. Is your friend a relative of Edgar? I would love to know about her relationship to the Burrells. It has not been easy tracking the descendants of this family. My immediate side moved to Washington, DC. Could she tell me more about Edgar and Family?

I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to get back to you. I am doing this research for a member of my church and she has been out for a few weeks. I spoke with her last week and she states that he is indeed from the Northshore, specifically the Mandeville area.

Did you get my answer to your e-mail question regarding the middle name of Francois? I would like to hear from you if you are related to the Burrell Family or have info about Edgar Burrell. I am related to the Burrell Family. I am almost certain that his middle name could have been Francois.

I am not sure if Edgar's middle name is Francois although it's possible since his mother's maiden name was Francois. The family originated in Mandeville and many lived in New Orleans. If possible would you share information so we can determine if this is the correct Edgar?

My Great Great Great Grandfather was Paul Lamant Francois who was born around 1820 & lived in New Orleans. He marred a Amelia Connebet. There may be a connection, but I am not sure.

I am trying to find info on my great grandfather John Francois who was from Cotton Port. He had a son with named Willie Francis (Francois)in 1899 with my great grandmother Mary Perry who was born Nov 1, 1878. I was told by my father that John had two daughters who I think lived in Iowa,but i am not sure. John was also refered to as "Pa John". He was a creole man. I am searching for any descendant or relative of Virginia Francois, brother James Francois, Olivia Francois Williams, siblings who lived in New Orleans up until the 1930/40's. Virginia married Marshall Burrell, Jr. and had a son, Edgar b. 1908. who lived with James Francois in the 1930's and with his paternal aunt Laura Burrell Harris in the 1920's. I am also trying to determine if Edgar Burrell married and had children. If anyone has any connection to these families, please contact me.

My husband is a Francois and his great-great-grandfather was Peter Francois who was Leo Francois brother. You posted this message six years ago and I don't know what the chances are that you would see this but please contact me thru this website.

Peter D. Francois (b. 1868) married Hannah Doty (b. 1873) in 1892. Stated they had been married for eight years on 1900 US Census. I located both of them in the 1915 IA State Census. In the 1920 US Census, Hannah is remarried to a W. L. Beckett. Found their marriage date to be 1/10/1918. I can't locate Peter in the 1920 US Census so I'm assuming he passed away sometime between after the 1915 IA census was taken Hannah's marriage to Beckett. I would love to have an obit for Peter or any other information regarding him. Thanks.

Looking for the parents of Louis Lepage who married Madeleine Boyer Feb. 2, 1735 in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Province of Quebec.
According to the parish register I consulted, his parents were Pierre Lepage and Madeleine Tousignant. Various unverified sources suggest they married circa 1702, location unknown; and that his grandfather was Pierre Lefrancois dit Lepage whose marriage to Madeleine Gaumond on Aug. 16, 1670 in Quebec City I found in the register of that parish.
Other unverified sources suggest his father's name was Louis Francois. Would very much love to find the record of the mariage of his parents. Any help much appreciated.

Hello Mary,

Bethel Ruth Francois is my Great Grandmother though I have never met her and am not sure when she died. Her Daughter's name was Ruby Belle Francois who was born in Tomah, WI and was my Grandmother as well. She had married my Grandfather Melvin Laverne Johnson in or around Mondovi, WI, and Melvin died June 12th, 1944 in the Normandy invasion on the shores of France. Ruby Belle Johnson (Maiden Francois) (her stepfather's name was Hedding, and no information about her paternal father except his name might have been Underhill) came out to California in the Santa Cruz area with my Father Kenneth Melvin Johnson. She married a Elmer John Kensinger who has passed away as well.
