I am the daughter of Robert Charles Garner, son of Herman Charles Garner. Herman's parents were Daniel Thomas Garner and Mary A. Weeks. Herman married Vashti Elvira Fadely, who I am named after, my name being Gail Lynn Vashti. I had heard from Floyd Delon, a cousin, back in 1998, about his relationship to my family. Daniel Thomas Garner, my great grandfather, was the son of Lucien Garner and Elizabeth Keck Garner (widow of Alfred Fields). Daniel's siblings were Nancy, Thomas, Angeline, Mary,Phoebe, Ida and step-siblings, William Fields, christopher Fields, John Fields, and Peter Fields.
The family was located in North Carolina and Indiana (Greensboro, Spiceland, Henry County)
I believe the home country was Ireland, but I don't know for sure; I am trying to get more information on ancestors from Lucien and Elizabeth on backwards.
