I am related to some Garretts, my grnadmother, maybe i could help you.

My grandfather was Elijah Gordon Garrett (b. 1894; d. 1950). Married Fannie Nokes 1917. Both from near Burkesville, KY. Grandpa had younger brother,William, who lived in Burkesville until his death in the 1970's. He also had a son named William. Does this help?

I am an adoptee born in IN 1947, birth mother is Ruth M. Garrett (Craig), born in TN 1921. Believe she is deceased, but know there were 2 older siblings.
