Hello!! I just thought I would go ahead and write a little something just for fun and see what kind of response I get back! I am from Indiana and that is basically where my entire family is from. My mother is Lorna Hanson and my father just passed away September 2, 1999 and his name was Robert Allen Hanson!! Just seeing if anyone I know is out there!!

Hello. I was wondering where in IN are your Hansons from? I have a John S. Hanson from Ft. Wayne. His father was Richard C. Hanson. Any connection? Hope so! :-)

I am sorry to say that I have not heard of any of those Hanson's. We are from different parts of Indiana. Most are in Shelbyville/Morristown area...the rest are Columbus and Evansville!! Sorry:(

My husband's grandfather is Grover Cleveland Hanson. Grover's sisters and brothers are Fredrick Hendrick, Nellie May, Albert T, Orval E., Bessie Marie, Lela Jessie, George Raymon, and Willie Alice. Their Parents were William Jefferson Hanson and Alice Samantha Wood Hanson. Please let me know if you know any of these Hansons.

My fathers side of the family was mostly from southern Indiana, around the Bedford/Bloomington area. There is the always the possibility of a connection, however, to the best of my knowledge, I was unfamiliar with relatives in the Columbus/Evansville area.

I was wondering what connection you had in the Bloomington/Bedford area. I am the granddaughter of Floyd Hanson. John Wesley Hanson was my great grandfather is there any connection between us. About the only family members I have ever met are my dads brothers and one sister. My father also has one cousin that I know of here that stays in contact named Jerry Hanson. Are you also part of my almost non-existant, existant family?
