would love to contact any of Ole's relatives

There was a mayor of Seattle Washington of that name. I am trying to determine if I am related since he came from Montana about 1900 as we my known relatives

I've just had open heart surgery, and can only take very short spurts at the 'puter.
But, in a few days, I'll tell you all my grandfather.....the great Ole Hanson

I am not sure of this but I think a great uncle on my father's side is Ole Hanson, the mayor of Seattle. My father has told me many times that there was a Ole related to his father and mayor of Seattle. I have done extensive research. Great book about Ole Hanson and pictures of him (my sister looks like him) up at University of Alaska Fairbanks Elmer Rasmusson library. I was researching and found this book about the Labor Strike of 1919. He was the first mayor to suppress a city wide strike.

My Hanson lineage came from a group of Hansons in Blaine WA. state and they may have come from Minnesota. I am not sure. My Dad says they were Mormons too from Utah.

Oh well, I haven't confirmed it but he is a distand relative from verbage passed on from my Icelandic grandfather Hanson.
