Jozsef Hasak, 17, male, single, farm laborer, Magyar, arrived Ellis Island, Dec. 5, 1912. He sailed on the ship Main, from Bremen, Germany. He had been in Pittsburgh, PA before this trip.

The original manifest shows he came from his father Janos Hasak, in Doboruszka, Ung Megye, Hungary. He was born in Doboruszka, Hungary. He went to his sponsor, his brother, John Hasak, 938 Ravine Street, Homestead, PA. (Dobouszka is now Ruska, Slovakia.)

In the transcribed Ellis Island records, he is recorded as:

KASAK Josef, from Vobornacka, 1912, 17, 1895
