I am searching for more info about this branch of the Kilduff family. I have a family tree compiled by a deceased great-aunt that has a lot of gaps. John was a farmer and married to Mary (maiden name unknown). Mary was born 1792 in Meath, Ireland and died in Stockbridge,MA in 1884. They had a daughter Margaret b.1834 in Ireland, d. Stockbridge, MA 1904 married to Patrick Burns

John is a name that appears in my line of Kilduffs quite frequently. My grandfather and his grandfather were both John. The elder John's father was Patrick, said to have been born ca. 1802 in Ireland. I have no further information re: Patrick until his John was born in Baltimore, MD, in 1835. Does your John have a younger brother named Patrick, perhaps? Or is there mention of a Patrick in your line? I see no indication any of our Kilduffs passed through New England, although my grandfather was born in NJ, for reasons unknown. I'd be glad to share any info I have if you think it is relevant to your family.
