Does anyone know who P.C. Lamar was? He married Mary A. Wand on April 26, 1897 in Butler Co. Ky. Was he known as "Pal" Lamar, the orphan son of Thomas and Elizabeth Cox Lamar

I am a P C Lamar, but not that one. I am from Oxford, MS. My husband is a descendent of LQC Lamar from Georgia.

Is the rifle available for sale?

I am a collector of old winchester rifles and the PC Lamar engraved rifle I bought is rare as it was special ordered with a very fancy stock and other features that make it a rare and expensive find.I would consider selling it if I can find another to replace it.I will watch for another and let you know if I find one to replace this one if you are interested. If I can find another rifle to replace the P.C. Lamar winchester it could easily cost 10 to $15,000, and Im not sure I can even find one especially in as good as condition as this one.
