Harry J. Lovelace; Born 1885 in Cheathan Co. TN; Died 1945; married Bessie Hofstetter in 1907. Bessie died in 1942. Bessie had a sister Mary Hively of Memphis, TN
Their child was Evelyn Lovelace (she served in the US Marine Corp.)

Samuel Milton Lovelace was a farmer born in 1881; died 2/19/47; he married Maymie Nolen; their children were:

John Andrew Lovelace, a farmer was born in 1870; died 4/48; he married Mary Alice Crutchfield later became Pounds after John's death; their children were:
Paul G. Lovelace
John (Jack) Lovelace (my father); his first wife was Mary Kathryn (last name not known; his second wife was Mabel L. Grant; his children were: Jerry Hooper Lovelace, William (wifes name is Myrna) (used to live in CA but has passed away), Donald, Jackie (Bishop) (has one son that I know of), Mary Elizabeth, Brenda Carolyn, James Edward, John R.

Dozier Lovelace of Indianapolis, IN

Ted Joseph Lovelace; he married M. Pauline Averitt his children were: Janice, Brenda and Ted Joseph Jr

Virgie William Lovelace; his wife was Gertrude; their children were Mrs. Doris Pursley, Mrs. Bobbie Vokel and Joyce Lovelace of Oak Ridge TN; son Billy of Los Angeles; he had 3 grandchildren at the time of his death which is not known.
Mamie Lovelace (she married and her married name is Smith and lived in Martin TN

Tom Lovelace - all that is known is that he lived in Indianapolis, IN and Jamestown, IN

Nannie Lovelace - all that is known is that she married someone named Hunt

Lillie Lovelace - all that is known is that she married someone named Hunter

I did see on one of the postings at Roots.web that a Jamie Lovelace who's grandfathere was Jerry Hooper Lovelace was looking for his relatives. I emailed at the familyinc.com but the email came back as undeliverable; must be old; If anyone knows of any of this line, please email me. I have lost touch with my half brothers and sisters completely.

Brenda Lovelace Dorsey

I'm sure this is the same Zachariah Lovelace that had children in Montgomery County, TN that married into our/my Crotzer and Coakley lines. I would like to discuss with you. Also, I can share some personal family stories--if you don't already know them. There are at least a couple your/our Lovelaces that are buried in our little family cemetery. Greetings from Nashville, TN---I am a descendant of Zachariah Lovelace and Maria Ellen Hooberry. My maternal grandfather (who died before I was born, I believe in the early 1940s, but not certain--can find out if interested, he had a heart attack) was Virgil Lovelace, and he was married to GLADYS Hatley, my mother is Joyce Lovelace Grubbs, Springfield TN. I am fairly certain we can go pretty far back on this side of the family. If interested, please respond to this post. thanks!
