Liverpool cemetery

My grandfather, George Malcolm MacLean, lived at the time of his death at 42 Belmont Road, Liverpool.The death cert shows this as sub dist of Walton. Where is Walton and would there have been a particular cemetery where he would have been interred.

Surnames: MacLean, Griffiths
Fred - Walton is now an inner city area of Liverpool not far from where I grew up in Anfield. The nearest cemetary to Belmont Road would be Anfield Cemetary (near to Stanley Park and Goodison, Everton's football ground).

In 1941 my grandfather Hubert George Wood died on the 8th of May at 42,Belmont Road,Walton,Liverpool.His first marriage was with Sarah Adelaide Stephens
