Looking for info on the parents of my great grand father William W Mason born 1832 (maybe as late as 1840). He was living in California with wife Mary in 1870. Living in Idaho in 1880. Living in California in 1910. The family also lived in Oregon in 1879. He may have been born in PA and might have lived in Iowa prior to 1870. He maried Mary in California in 1870 and they were divorced at sometime after 1896. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You. Cal Mason

Do a search on message boards for Mason. This sounds very familiar to another story I heard on here. Family was from PA and came to CA.

Are you certain on the middle initial? I have a William Alfred in my tree, born 1832 in New Orleans, son of Samuel Alfred Mason, born in Phila. in 1805.
